Connections
Link people to the people they know, such as family or coworkers.
A connection says how two people know each other. For example, Ana is Ben's sister, and Chen is Dev's manager. The connection appears on both their pages, under Connections.

Connect two people
- Open one of them and press C. This works from any tab.
- Under Person, type a name and choose the person. If they're new, choose Add “…” as a new person, and they'll be added when you save.
- Under Relationship, choose what they are to the person whose page you're on. To find a relationship, type in the filter. For example, "mum" finds Parent, and "boss" finds Manager.
- Add a Note if it helps, such as "at Acme, 2019–2022".
- Choose Connect, or press ⌘↵.
Nifty works out the other side for you. Below the choices, it shows the connection both ways round so that you can check it, for example "Tom Brennan is Maya Okafor's direct report. Maya Okafor is Tom Brennan's manager."
See someone's connections
The Connections tab shows their people as faces under Family, Social, Work and Others. Each face has its role and, under it, the connection's note. A long note is cut short, and Edit… shows all of it. Choose a face to open that person.
Change or remove a connection
Choose ⋯ on the face, and then choose Edit… or Remove…. Removing a connection keeps both people. Only the link between them is removed.
How someone relates to you is under Relationship to you on their page, not among their connections. Your own page lists everyone connected to you. See People.
